We do a lot of smoothies here over at A Simply Raw Life. It's one of our go to's for a quick and healthy breakfast or snack. I think this is my new favorite! (I probably say that all the time,!) I love the flavor the almond butter adds to it ~ super delicous!
GREEN SMOOTHIE WITH SPINACH, ALMOND BUTTER + ALMOND MILK
1 banana, frozen
4 cups spinach
1/2 cup coconut plain or vanilla yogurt
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon almond butter
*optional: 1 tablespoon flax seed or chia seed
Blend all the ingredients together in a high speed blender and enjoy. You can blend in the seeds or pour them on top as a garnish.
Enjoy!
This is my go-to smoothie recipe!! :D Except I've never tried coconut yogurt before...need to get my hands on some! Love the nut butter - makes it so yummy and creamy!
